Health. Temperament. Type.
As distinctive as a Dalmatian.
Four generations, 27 champion titles
A look at Dobby's pedigree shows the quality of his ancestry: his origins rest on some of the most successful and most highly awarded Dalmatian lines in Europe.
Of the 30 listed ancestors, 27 hold an official champion title. That density of championships is reflected in Dobby's conformation and his self-assured character.
Data as recorded in the pedigree issued by the Dalmatiner-Zucht-Gemeinschaft Deutschland e.V. (DZGD), studbook number VDH/DZGD 3597/24.
Important breeding information
What makes DEODAT a good choice for breeding?
He is thoroughly healthy and all relevant health data is available in full: HD-A, ED-A, bilaterally hearing and a comprehensive genetic test. That transparency and those excellent results make him an outstanding choice.
Which health examinations has he passed?
Audiometry (BAER) on 2 September 2024 with the result “bilaterally hearing”, radiographic results HD-A and ED-A dated 7 July 2026, and a genetic test showing E/E at the E locus and B/b at the B locus. The dental assessment is still to be added.
Why do these examinations matter?
They minimise the transmission of inherited conditions. Deafness is characteristically widespread in Dalmatians, which is why audiometry is a mandatory examination. HD and ED results document joint health — the basis for puppies being able to live long, healthy lives.
Which coat colours does DEODAT pass on?
At the B locus he is B/b, so a carrier for liver. He can therefore sire both black-spotted and liver-spotted offspring, depending on the bitch's genotype. At the E locus he is E/E and therefore not a carrier of the lemon gene.
Where can I see the health certificates?
All certificates and documents are gladly available for personal inspection in the case of serious interest. Just ask.
When will the breeding approval take place?
The official DZGD breeding approval is scheduled for October 2026. Every required examination has already been passed. Enquiries about future litters are welcome now.
